As I'm drying my hair this morning, I look over and see J playing dolls with Ally, naturally I dash for the camera to capture them playing together....As I snap away, I'm thinking to myself how lucky I am that J is willing to do all the girly stuff, it's then that I hear Ally say "die arrow" (translation: Die Ariel), and realize that J and Ally are placing the princess figurines on top of the doll house roof and then knocking them off, while exclaiming "die!" as the princesses plummet to their death. I suppose it's not as it seemed, but nevertheless Ally's pleased to be playing with Daddy.
Ally has been especially infatuated with Ariel Lately. She's been carrying the Ariel figurine everywhere with her. She held onto her during the Harvest Festival and the parade yesterday, slept with it at nap-time, took it on our walk to Blockbuster, and held it during dinner. It's pretty cute, since she can't quite pronounce Ariel, instead calling her: "Arrow".
Here are a few more shots taken this morning. Notice Ally's new hair-do. It's finally long enough for two teeny-tiny pony tails. Of course it wouldn't be complete without matching bows. They (along with the outfits) are some of my new clearance finds from Gymboree.
